The new TFO-PHW fly rods, based on TFO’s popular “Lefty Kreh Professional” fly rods are translucent blue with blue windings tipped with red. The Temple Fork Outfitters and Project Healing Waters logo in gold appear on each rod. All TFO-PHW fly rods are covered by TFO’s lifetime warranty.
The Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing program, through Federation of Fly Fishers clubs and Trout Unlimited chapters, teaches fly fishing and fly tying skills as therapy to the service men and women wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq and disable veterans from World War II and the Korean, Vietnam, and other conflicts. Participation in the PHW program is voluntary, and all fishing trips, equipment and materials are furnished at no cost to the participants. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc. is totally funded by tax-deductible donations.
A $25 contribution will be made to Project Healing Waters for every CFR rod that is purchased.
